WAGEES reentry Program
The WAGEES (Work and Gain Education & Employment Skills) Program prepares justice-involved young adults for employment through education and training, paid work experiences, mentorship, care advocacy, and leadership development.
In addition to paid work experiences, this program provides post-work experience placement into unsubsidized employment and/or education.
Eligibility Requirements:

18-24 years old
-
Reside in or planning on returning to Pomona
-
Currently/Formerly Incarcerated, or Probation/Parole
And ONE or more of the following:
-
Expelled from school OR did not complete high school

Attend or attended an alternative high school for disciplinary reasons

Have a parent who is currently/previously incarcerated

Diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, or has/had an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
-
Substance use before age 12
