WAGEES Program

WAGEES reentry Program

The WAGEES (Work and Gain Education & Employment Skills) Program prepares justice-involved young adults for employment through education and training, paid work experiences, mentorship, care advocacy, and leadership development.

 

In addition to paid work experiences, this program provides post-work experience placement into unsubsidized employment and/or education.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • 18-24 years old

  • Reside in or planning on returning to Pomona

  • Currently/Formerly Incarcerated, or Probation/Parole

 

And ONE or more of the following:

  • Expelled from school OR did not complete high school

  • Attend or attended an alternative high school for disciplinary reasons

  • Have a parent who is currently/previously incarcerated

  • Diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, or has/had an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

  • Substance use before age 12
